They posted they’ve already done a handful of <10 today. Being as they just released this today it will take a few weeks to a few months to get a solid set of feedback.

Seems like they are banking on people not wanting to ship the DME's overseas and would rather pay a premium. Kinda sh*ty of them.

Just send your DMEs to Femto directly. It's cheaper and they've done thousands, if not tens of thousands of unlocks.. not tens.

Chiming in also that those prices are crazy. And M tax for no reason on S58. $5-600 more than Femto. Pay for convenience I guess. Kies has always overcharged for any and everything since the beginning, so I’m not surprised he’s trying to milk this too

Sounds like they need to pay a commission to a bosch insider.

Pricing aside they really need to get dozens if not a couple hundred of happy, vocal customers before they can really justify asking so much money and trying to maximize profits. The risk is too high to trust "we have 8 confirmed unlocks" over just taking the extra few days to ship it to Femto (for a lower cost if you send it yourself) who has done tens of thousands of unlocks with virtually no issues.

I think mine was like $1100 for MHD and I didn't have the ECU for like 11 days? I am still happy to see more options!
