Gonna copy this setup. For only $350ish?? Seems to be the route to go. How does the 12 inch work with the stock 2 subwoofers?

Holy hell this is perfect. Is there a thread on this setup?
I agree I'd love to see build pictures this is basically a perfect OEM+ look to me with I'm guessing relatively minimal added weight.

Thank you for that! That is a super cool build, and love the box. Whoever made the box should sell them to order. That is slick looking and fits in there so well.

Nice project! Thanks for sharing

I stopped counting. It has a utopia 3 way up front. W all 3 of the speakers in new custom locations. Well over 25k
Damn ! 25k is almost half the cost of the car.. I mean 2500$ sounds high 25k ..ouch

Is it possible to remove the factory sub box, the upper portion, without cutting or removing anything permanent? Just thinking if it’s reasonable to build a custom box like this but still be able to return exactly to stock if desired.
Really nice builds. I’m leaning towards just adding a removable sub and amp like the OP documented, in case for longer trips I need the space. But, perfect world is to just use the factory location and built it up higher.

Yes, but I’ve read it’s pretty expensive.

The subs "enclosure" is welded to the body so cutting would be required to remove the structure.
Cheers
