For those with a pulse for real driving, manual transmissions are the only choice that matters. Mastering the clutch, slamming through gears, and commanding every rev is a thrill that separates true drivers from the masses. Automatics? They’re a lazy shortcut, coddling those who’d rather let a computer babysit their ride than take control. Winning in a manual isn’t just a victory—it’s a middle finger to the soulless ease of automatics, proving you’ve got the skill and guts to dominate the road. :cool:

computer babysits a supra manual too, lol.

the problem is driving a fast manual car sucks. Once you get over 750whp it's just a bear, plus it's infinitely harder on the driveline. Autos are much much easier on the engine and driveline.

manuals are fantastic in slow cars.

I was just shitposting because we hijacked another post ("Haha! C'mon man!") and figured if people were so adamant about it, they can post on a dedicated post instead.

Idc either way, I was just making my usual points and the manual bois did not like it. Got all fixated on dicks, penises, and homoerotic behavior (not sure why autos make them think of penis and gay sex so much but it did) and wanted to keep arguing.

My usual points:
I was a "manual only" type of guy pre-Supra (20 years of trucks, family cars, and sports cars that were all manual). It changed my mind there and now I find it funny that Auto (Or DCT w/e) is faster and, IMO just as good if not better but people won't allow you to feel that way, lol.

By manual I mean a pedal + shifter. Yes, they have paddle shifters or sequential shifters, ik;
Real (Makes a living off racing) Race car drivers usually don't have stick shifters and clutch pedals anymore and most races don't have manuals

$100k+ cars often don't have manuals

And that the "more engaging" is a tired argument. People act like you lose a clunky device and somehow you can't drive anymore or can't "feel" your car, idk. If anything, it should take away from the driving experience cause you focus on the process, not the track/road.

But hey, to each their own. If you love manual, feel free to buy and love your manual, but it's ok if others have an Auto and like it too.

Am I bothered? Not by the discussion, but maybe by the never-ending flex that is a slower car and a stick that they defend so hard, like using terms like "My hands are free so I can jerk off other guys" while saying that when their whole spiel is handling a stick the whole time they are driving, lol.

Anyways, enjoy!

Right, let me know when you're driving 500k-million dollar cars for a living, then I'll appreciate your opinion, until then, you kinda sound like a high school kid (Sorry to go there, but I can't help it with all you gay talk and stick slobbing)
