I still think they don't phrase that well. I believe Tada said to buy the 4cyl option for swaps because it doesn't make any sense to buy the expensive motor option just to remove it. I dont think they are implying the 4cyl model will have any other advantages when swapping outside of being more economicalToyota commenting about the four cyl via FB.

I have 3. One built for the E46, 2 spares. Bought the pistons first (std size) then went on to buy the suitable block that doesn’t require oversizing. [insert face palm here] 1st and 2nd engines were terrible, 3rd miracly had the cleanest cylinder walls of any used engine i had ever seen.How many 2JZ engines are there out there that make this actually a viable conversation??
