Doesn't do it all the time. If I concentrate enough to release throttle in advance perfectly (like compensate for the rev hang) than it's fine.
So are you releasing throttle too late that your in neutral with throttle still?

I have 3 manual cars and always had. The Supra is the only one that revs up like crazy when doing hard pulls and clutching in. Very weird behaviour and super annoying when you want to have quick shifts.
I think this may be an element of my complaint about the MT. I find switching off auto rev-matching makes things better, but still not perfect.

If you are talking about the car reving up when upshifting from gear to gear during throttle, ive learned its because you don't let off the clutch enough or fast enough. For some reason the car then thinks you are downshifting and auto revs. Its super fucking annoying but im learning how to pedal around that. Wish we could just remove that shit completely.

Super fucking annoying is an understatement.

I might try to adjust my action but my work around has been to just turn rev-matching off. In my experimenting, I have found that with rev-matching turned on, it starts off OK but the longer I drive, the worse it gets until it's near undriveable. When was your car built? I have a MY23 build in February and I always had the suspicion (hope) that it might just need an ISTA update might cure it?

My car is a MY2024 and yes it annoys that I need to reprogram my brain to drive it.
I thought the rev-hang was crazy in my wife Civic Si but dang I was wrong!!!

I have a 2023 that I daily and it's happened maybe 7 or 8 times total for me, usually while I'm tracking but overall pretty rare. I get it way more often on my wife's civic because the clutch bite point is so different and I'm still riding the clutch slightly as I get back on the gas.
