Nearly every single article about "poor" 86 sales has been written by a bit of a hater. What were people expecting, the 86 to beat the muscle cars in fleet sales? And since the twins are built on the same assembly line as other Subies, Toyobaru just have the workers build more Imprezas so I doubt it really costs them an arm and a leg to keep the platform alive.. Highly doubt the Supra will be a big seller either.

Firstly, as everyone else has stated the Car isn't out yet, no official details have been released.
Although we have a good idea, don't go bashing it yet, so whats the point ?

Also, i would imagine that most people on here have probably driven or owned at least one incarnation of the Supra.
Why the hell else would everyone be so keen to see another, newer version!??

As legendary as the MK4 Supra was, I don't think people realise just how vastly different every version has been.
In terms of performance AND looks.
So why cant the MK5 (A90) be different ?

Lets wait until we see hard facts, official details and maybe some reviews first, before we start giving this ''work-in-progress concept'' a hard time.

Which is why i have come to this conclusion

If all of these same topic threads were merged into their main thread we would free up the forum by 138 threads!!!

Great work. After the threads get merged, the shorter list could even be considered for a sticky so people can easily find and add more noise to the topic of their choice.... This might ameliorate the problem of people starting a new but redundant topic thread when they don't see their topic addressed on the first page of a forum thread list.

I know I over exaggerated a little at the end so I'm glad some people found it funny.

The fact that that one of the most reliable sports cars in history, is now powered by one of the least reliable manufacturers parts is pretty horrific. Even if Toyota improved the engine and made it more reliable, they didn't design it from scratch and whenever you try and lift someone up, they also pull you down in the process.

To me this reeks of the same story line as the 3rd gen Eclipse. :/
